I recorded my first radio spot today. ^^ And produced my first show. It's awful fun...

Oh, you're recording stuff? Cool. Right now, I have almost no voice to speak of and I'm desperately hoping that tea and half an hour will help... mostly because _I'm_ a full time babysitter.

Heehee. It's seven in the morning and I don't even know how to make coffeeeeeeee... I guess when I go over there I can drink one of those diet Pepsis for caffiene if I need it... bleh, diet, bleh Pepsi, but there's worse. Though I really can't think what would be worse, I'll eat anything, soooo... yeah... heehee....seven in the morning.....ooooh, water's boiling.

On the bright side, my second alarm works if only because I don't WANT my CD to have to start blaring and wake EVERY FREAKING PERSON IN THE HOUSE UP. Wheeeeee. Somehow it's satisfying knowing that if I turn my first alarm off and go back to sleep, 20 minutes later, LOUD MUSIC WILL BLARE. Hahahaaa... yeah. I'm still dead. Oh yeah, boiling water... right...

IN A BROADCAST SHOOOWWWW!

Ahem.

I remember my radio days! They were pretty cool, first with the summer events and driving in parades, and later with voicetracking and all. Except it ate up too many hours with school, though not as much as I had really imagined since grade eleven didn't require too much attention in the first place (sad but true). Nah, radio life wasn't quite the life for me, though it was fun while it lasted. It was a bit challenging, though, running a station for five hours and sounding decently excited about songs which were of the only genre of music I can't stand.

Lawl, country, or lawl, pop?

Anywayyyyyyyy... yeah, I couldn't do radio. I have this problem. I talk extremely fast. ^^ See how wordy I am onliiiine? I'm like that RL... I blather... and pretty fast... fast enough it's sometimes harder to be understood... especially in a recording. XP

I _like_ babysitting. Srsly. She's a nice kid, the only thing I'm worried about is that I feel like... crap... right now... dry cough... throat ow... must just make til Friday, because she is taking afternoon off... it'll be probably something like 7:45-12:00... then can be as sick as body wants...

Hah. Or recording and blending a commercial for a concert when the people who wrote it and are paying for it are IDIOTS AND YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING!!!!! [/angst]

But seriously. The guy who wrote that commercial sure should be shot.

*cough*

It's this wee, Christian station, and I'm only allowed to play worship music on my show. I mean... it's alright.... but.... not exciting. I'd love to be able to play music that actually sounds different song to song. *smacks head* Just means it's my job to find unique worship music!!! Yayz.

Awwww... teh angst of sitting on children.... I had days like that. Mostly just days where I sat in the middle of their floor and resisted the terribly embarrassing urge to burst into tears.... ^^

I'm not much of a baby sitter.

The woman took today off.

I slept in.

TIL ELEVEN.

Oooooooooh.

Also, I woke up and I had managed to remove half of my bedsheet somehow in my sleep... erm... yeah.

That's not a bad show. I wouldn't mind doing that so much. Though, I dunno, I think I'd have more fun doing the country music show since that can sound different, even if everyone I know seems to HATE it... some's pretty cool. Heehee.

Oh well. (falls over) Weeeeeeeeeeekend... aargh... must stop being sick by Sunday...

It's a pain to find music that sounds different, song to song... that's the only problem. I've been playing a lot of Kutless and Grand Prize... and I managed to slide a TFK song in there, once... ^^ Made my day...

Anyone know of any... lesser known worship bands? Or other bands that play a few worship songs on their CDs? I'm supposed to find more, and I'm at a loss. Haven't even managed to listen to all of the music I have in my computer, yet....

I don't like phones EITHER... LET'S TALK ON THE PHONE LOL. (dies)

Umm... worship bands... lessee, all I can think of at the moment is Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, that one CD of Kutless's, yeah... TFK? Good for you. o_o Have you played Pieces by Red yet? That'd probably class as worshipish...

Ooh, Elevate's a lesser known worship band. ^.^ But you probably don't HAVE any of their music. At all. Because they're like that unknown. Haha. They're the Briercrest worship band, but they have a couple CDs out. Cool stuff.

Red is like my favoritest group ever at the moment. <3

But Elevate is good too. I'd suggest playing Glimmer and There In the Silence, if you could find the songs. ^^

I don't use Facebook. I don't like internet stuff like that. I just like forums. Heh.

I have too many friends going everywhere not to have Facebook. And it's so much cooler than MySpace. ^^

It was lawl country. Aaaahhhh... (hides) Although the fluff junk-pop they play on the other station in the same building gets to me, too. It all really does sound the same.

Ohhhh this conversation moves too quickly. Well, only if I don't show up for a few days. XP

Facebook, it is handy for keeping in contact with people. (considers) Yes. That's pretty much that.

Ooh, ooh! If you can find something by David Ruis (he's with Vineyard Music) to slip on air, that would rock. One of my favourites, particularly the song Awake. Might be kind of tricksy to find, though, since it's an older track.

A lot of people at my college asked me if I have Facebook. I still probably won't get it. It seems rather redundant to me to 'make friends' with someone online who you can really see and talk to on campus.

All the folk I talk to on Facebook are people I never see.... in other states and colleges, and stuff. And I hate phones, so I'd never talk to them otherwise. ^^

Those aren't lesser known, and those aren't worship, those are just straight out CCM. And Skillet's like... Pillar. Or TFK.

Played Audio Adrenaline? Tripmeter? You definately haven't played the last one, unless they got a CD out when I wasn't looking. Lol.

Does Audio A actually have worship music? I guess I haven't really listened to them for a while, so I wouldn't know. ^^ I've thought of playing some Falling Up, and Skillet does have a couple worship songs on their first CD, so they may make it in th
